Fun Question.
I'm not sure how it is a fun question. I'm 73, joined TN 7 years go (or maybe 8) and am a paid life member. It does surprise me that so many members do not pay and then complain that they can only see a few photos. There has to be some incentive for those of us who contribute to the site's running costs.
We joined this site in 2008, left briefly a few years ago and only came back because its a way to promote our lifestyle, We are life members/part owners of a resort, (all life members are part owners) We have served on boards etc to promote this lifestyle, We are not life members of this site but life members of AANR.

I'm 57, been a nudist since I was very young. Non-participating wife (unfortunately). Joined the site about 8 years ago but didn't really participate much until very recently. The reason for the uptick in participation was becoming empty nesters. Had a discussion with my wife and she agreed to let me be nude around the house as much as I want (which is always). She also agreed to let me participate in "away from the home" nudist events - going to join the local non-landed club (Long Island Travasuns) as soon as they have their next pool party. Also joined AANR and TNS
Her major concern was that I "meet someone" and decide to leave her. She REALLY doesn't get it. I assured her that is not the reason I participate in the nudist lifestyle and she seemed to finally accept that.
She's starting to come around - was on the boat with her the other day and had to put on shorts to adjust the anchor. She says "Why are you put ting on shorts"? I guess she's getting used to my natural nude state. Good stuff.

Di had a nudist lifestyle setback some time ago. She was going through menopause and have a rough time. Her body was changing and she was gaining weight. She was having erratic menstrual cycles and was always in panties, shorts and wearing pads. She told me that I should still go to the club, a resort and the nude beach without her but I couldn't. I told her that I'd weather the storm with her and we'd resume after she felt better and got better. It came back to me in the end. Di recovered and got back to nudism/social nudism in a big way. She was naked much more at home, suggested day visits to the beach or a resort, wanted to join our club. I'm not sure she would have been that eager if I had ventured off without her and made friendships with people she didn't know or would know. It worked for us but it's not for everyone or everyone's situation.
