Group looks too quiet

Being only an hour and a half from Disney, we try to go at least once or twice a month. We will go on one of our days off (normally Wed or Thur) and then leave around 4:30 and head over to Cypress Cove for a few hours while the traffic dies down. It gives us a great day at 2 of our favorite places in the world, Disney and Cypress Cove!

Does anyone else do anything like this?

We are Annual Passholders at Disneyland. We try and go often but sometimes we can't make if for a couple months! Our club, Glen Eden, is on the way but when we go to Disneyland, we go early and come home late! Disneyland is about 60-70 mins away from our home but to get there, we have to take one of the busiest, most crowded, traffic packed freeways. We go early to avoid traffic, we return home late to avoid traffic ... anything in between ... we're stuck in all that traffic and it takes twice as long to get home.

If our club was more like Cypress Cove, had a lounge and bar open for a night cap and maybe some apps, we'd might leave Disneyland early and stop in but it doesn't have that amenity.

We love Disney and try to go at least once a year. We yet to make it to Cypress Cove though, mostly because we spend all of our Orlando time at Disney. We're really going to make it a point to visit the Cove on our next trip though. It's about a 7 hour drive for us, so you're so lucky to be that close!

Do you go into Disney or just do Downtown Disney? We may want to meet you sometime but I don't want to pay the hefty price to go into Disney for just a short time and then the Cove as well. Downtown Disney and then the Cove sounds like a nice day though and we may want to meet up and do it with you. Disney is about 1.5-2 hours drive depending on traffic through Tampa.

We will normally go to one of the parks then try to get to Cypress right at 5pm. We havent done it in the winter yet, no not sure how it will work with the sun going down so early. I would think it would be perfect for the hot tubs at Cypress though. We can also change things up if you want to try and meet sometime. Big thing for us is that we work weekends, so normally only have Wednesday and Thursday to go.
