RE:Gold detecting
A few years back at a nudist camp in Arizona. Made friends with a couple camping near me. They were near one of the more rugged washes that looked as if natural gold could concentrate there and we gave it a shot. Set up my panning basin and carried gravel back up to camp in buckets. Water being scarce and had to be transported in containers from a mile away. Didn't find any gold there but another location off camp did find a few flakes.
