Another idiot move

I did not get the camper washed and waxed while it was still up at our club. I procrastinated until I ran out of time before it was to come home. Instead the Mrs and I found ourselves washing and waxing the behemoth in our sweaty clothes while at work. Somewhere about midpoint my wife says " You know we should be naked doing this." Bet I don't pull that idiot stunt again.

Wish we had the property to wash our motorhome here at home. I usually take it to the coin car wash and take over the RV bay for about 45 mins. I still can't get it as clean as I'd like. I'd like to do it here at home but hate to use all that water. At least at the coin wash, the water is captured and reused.

It was my hope to have enough property that I could store the motorhome or a boat, have the ability to work on it and do so naked. Living in a tract home ... no can do. When I return from out annual trip to Death Valley, I always book a day at our club on an RV site. We drive there, park it and I take everything out of the storage cabinets and vacuum out them completely, re-organize and re-store all our stuff and give the inside of the coach a proper wipe down and cleaning. The outside gets cleaned the following day at the coin wash. At least I get to do 1/2 of it while naked.

I am able to wash and wax our RV in the nude here at our new place in NM...only a slight problem...we have 1 mile of dirt road in and out of our place so I have to make sure I have a good coat of sealant on the rig so I can take it through a quick wash when I get to my next destination to rinse off the dust. My rig is 12 years old but I try to keep it in good shape and polish it at least twice a year...hoping to find a place to do that nude is always a challenge, when away from home.
