half day project done bare
First off my garage is more like a glorified carport. The parking area is open to the road side facing east. To the south is an old grain bin with rotting floor and basically empty. To the north is farm out building/ chicken coop. The roof that connects these two and a back wall to the west make up the parking area. The bldg has wild grapes growing over it which hides the peeling paint while the leaves are on.
I have been here for nearly 29 yrs and junk tends to accumulate. . Yesterday was part 3 of a major clean out. I started out with an open shirt on in the morning cool , but quickly lost the shirt leaving me totally bare. The garage does sit maybe 100ft back from the road, but there is about 100 ft of frontage where the view is not blocked by vegetation or the house . Daytime traffic is light, so not many cars went by and as far as I know no one saw me. At least no one slammed on their brakes and backed up to get a 2nd look. The parking area is empty except the the recycle area. That included pulling the gardenway cart over to the burn pile and the ditch edge to dump some burnables or loose stone. Sure feels good to have
it ready to park in come frosty morns. But does not feel good that those frosty morns are not too far off.
