I started to develop pubic hair at the age of 11 years old. It just seemed to fill in so fast after that. I remember some classmates looking at it and commenting on my pubes. By 13 years old in 7th grade, my pubic hair was very noticeable. I practically had a full bush, but I would say definitely by 14 I had a full thick man's bush.
Frankly, I find those who try to belittle guys who shave to be very childish.
I started puberty early and had a full bush by age 12.
By age 14 I had severe jock itch and for 30 years spent a fortune on anti jock itch medication. Soaps and gels were not the cause.
Aged 42, I had to have an operation and the pubes were totally shaved. Suddenly end of jock itch.
I allowed it to grow back and within months the jock itch returned.
From age 62 I shaved it all off and now I have been jock itch free for 10 years,
So enough of the stupid comments. It says more about you than about my need to be smooth.
Nudists are supposed to be accepting of others!
End of my rant.
To me its a choice ,, As for myself I saw great Uncle swim nude ..he was hairy as a bear .. I was in aw of that .. I was happy when I started puberty to look like him .. Im to lazy to shave .. I may trim up some
Definitely, its a personal choice. I agree with that. In the case of shorehamgent, its mostly an itch issue thats why he started shaving. He is also right in mentioning about stop putting down those who shaved and has little penises. I am sure those who are blessed with well endowed penises doesnt fully understand the insecurities of those that are not bless like them and have small penises. Being Asian, I was so insecure to be naked around other people for a long time due to the fact that it is not within our culture to be naked and also because I thought that all Caucasian and coloured men have all big penises based on seeing them in porn when I was growing up. As for the pubic hair, I tried to shaved once 20 yrs ago and I didnt like the look of it as I look like a boy in a mans body. That is my personal opinion. And when the hair starts to grow back, it itch like hell so no shaving for me. But I will not deny the fact that I like seeing a shaved pubes to a lot of men.
I dont shave myself but I shaved my balls and I kept my pubic hair trimmed. I must say those who dont like shaving must keep their pubes trimmed and the balls always smooth. Just a suggestion. It doesnt really look that nice when it looks like an Amazon jungle down there. Peace to all
Wow, you're so lucky to have had a bush at such a young age! When I was 11-12 I was totally in awe of kids who had "man cocks". I'm sure you showed off at every possible chance! Although I never had a real thick bush, I was fairly well hung by 13 and enjoyed showing that off. Good times!
I also love seeing the contrast between men and boys and love seeing dads with their sons at the YMCA. Boys are so proud when they finally start to develop! It always brings back great memories. I also mentored a kid for a few years and went through this issue with him.
I agree. There are many reasons people/men decide to be smooth or remain hirsute. It is often a choice and sometimes not. Be happy, have your preferences in this area, but please also try not to judge others for their needs or preferences.
Just go with whatever you choose, why criticise another for their choice, it doesn't affect you. I was a late bloomer and had no pubes till around 14 or so, I am not overly hairy and my body hair is fair, it's just genetics. I had a few ingrown hairs in my early - mid 20's and an old girlfriend thought I had something contagious and I had given it to her. I saw a doctor, she said no, just ingrown hairs, and suggested I trim back and pluck out the infected ones, she initially did that. That started my gradual hair reduction process, proved it to the then girlfriend, she did the same so we were trend-setters we thought.
Men and women who shave look like adults who shave, not children. If you look at a shaven hair free adult body and see anything other than an adult, I would suggest that you have a problem. Adults look like adults, with or without hair.
