National Nude Day - July 14, 2017

Who's going to celebrate the day by being naked on Lake Michigan??

I plan on visiting the Lake Street beach in the afternoon. West from main beach to the secluded empty area.

Where is that beach? Can you get away with being nude there?

In Gary/Miller Indiana where Lake Street ends at Lake Michigan. Head west from main beach a 15-20 minute hike. The beach and dunes are typically empty. Got to watch for birdwatchers, beach hikers and random rangers on four-wheelers. Strategically located so you can see people coming. Not legal in Indiana but a great escape. Be aware of your surroundings as is the case with most public nudity in USA.
