Being Who We Are
Living nude and cultivating nude relationships is simply being who we are, in the most honest way possible. There are times when clothing is necessary, but all too often clothes are indicative of social status or indifference. When naked we're out there, in our entirety--open and vulnerable in a fully positive way. It's great to see that even at our age there is, collectively, still an interest and enthusiasm for nudism as well as a diversity of interests that have been covered in the Group discussions. It says a lot, too, about the sense of self esteem one gets from being a lifetime nudist--and the photos members have posted can attest to that!
From personal observation and studies the older we get the less inhibited we are. We are more at a stage when we don't have to project an image of ourselves to be accepted by the rest . We are what we are, take it or leave it! Nudists are more open because we already have a mind set that we have nothing to hide. In our younger days we were probably bothered about our body image and putting our best assets on display. With advancing years , we might have tried to still maintain our youthful looks. But when we realize that the "touch ups " and "make overs" are fake and foolish we , "To heck with it, who cares! " Here we are as we are and believe me, there are still a whole lot of takers!!:)
