October Sunshine
I've written before about the summer being over and yet it seems to still be here.Today I spent the morning splitting logs and was pleasantly surprised at how warm I got.A break with a cup of coffee then I was out again. This time to put the last of the raised beds into winter mode. The sun was out and I thought, why not. So I stripped off and set about my work naked and happy.Keeping warm was no problem, in fact it got very warm.By the time I'd finished I was covered in perspiration and feeling very pleased with myself. Now the vegetable garden is looking neat and tidy.I've still got my sprouts growing, but very slowly. The kale is now ready as are the leeks, but these will be picked when needed. All in all a wonderful day and very productive.I wonder if there will be more before the winter sets in. I hope so.
Most of the time when the sun is out and no wind ie nude gardening time it is work time and a day like today with no sun it will be most likely too cold to be nude. Even if only 15 to 16 C (about mid 60's) with the sun out it is nude time.
