RE: LAStone is in San Diego. Not sure how far you are willing to go but San Diego has a ton of good looking cal beer. I st depends on what floats your boat. IPA? Stout? Pale ale? Message me if you want more help.

RE: LABallast Point in Seal Beach is suppose to be pretty good (for beer at least, heard food not so good). The Congregation Ale House in Pasadena is good, and has decent food too

RE: LAThere are so many other good beers in San Diego other than Stone. I like stone but there is Mother Earth, beltching beaver, prohibition, and many many others in just north county San Diego. I hope you find what you are looking for.
In El Segundo not far from LAX there is El Segundo Brewery. I have not been yet but people love it. It is on my list of places to go.
