Here in The Villages and no major damages. A few trees down and a couple of traffic lights down but no major structural damage has been reported publicly yet. Our place is fine. Our big Oak tree out front was dancing around pretty good but no limbs snapped off and it hasn't been creaking, groaning, or cracking as it moves. Still have to finish off today's wind and rain but it's getting better and better. And just now some sun started to shine through the clouds. Wish I could throw off my clothes and run outdoors for a few minutes - too bad the neighbors take such a dim view of such goings on. Hope the folks up in the Jacksonville area, and then on up into Georgia and South Carolina do well.
Hey, wish we had evacuated to your house! We came back to a surprisingly damage-free environment in Titusville. Not as bad as 2004. Can't wait to see the erosion at Playalinda at the first opportunity. In 2004, everything north of Parking Lot 8 was washed out, so the nude area started a lot farther south!
