Hot tubs are great but as a general rule, don't get into a hot tub that isn't your own well maintained tub, unless you're happy to get out with more than you got in with.

Never heard it expressed quite that way!

But if it's a person I know to be competent at maintaining the tub, I don't have a problem with it. Public pools and hot tubs are a different matter, though.
