curious, WHY?
why do so many people try to fake being nudists?
Was in the chat room, where we know many who we have met in person,
and start getting these PMs with people trying to convince us they
are nudists, we are certified, which is only one step in providing
some assurance to others, but we have tons of pictures not only in
our profile but also in here, anyway it is not like you have to
study to pass a test to be a nudist, LOL its a way of life, so
relaxing, so enjoyable, why do so many have to fake it?

First of all let me say this is a great group and I hope it stays sincere to the cause of real nudist. I believe what you are seeing is just a small fraction of the people you run into everyday that simply do not understand nudism only these are the perverted half of those people. We tend to think of textiles as being prudish in their body shame but I think there are many others that, even though they still possess the same body shame as the prudes but are just plain out and out horny.
Let me put it another way, these are the people on the internet looking for pornography and by Googling words like naked and nude, they come across a website like this one without any understanding of who or what a real nudist is.
I have always wished for a real True Nudist web site. I understand from the owners perspective it wouldn't make as much money maybe but from my perspective, I'd be far more comfortable in the company of 1,000 true nudist rather than the 100,000 of lord only knows what that is among us now.
So I wind up locking down my pictures and having to be less than totally friendly in my profile about who and who I won't accept as friends in an attempt to be among the real nudist. Certification is a good step in weeding out the non-nudist voyeurs but there are many other tricks the admins could also be doing to make the lurkers go away.
