Allure of the Seas Sept. 4-11, 2016
That's one of the cruises we thought about but ultimately went with
Adventure of the Seas for it's Saturday to Saturday itinerary, even
though it doesn't go to St. Martin that week. We are already a
little overwhelmed by the Voyager class ships, so we didn't know
about trying an Oasis class one. We've come to enjoy the smaller
ships that Bare Necessities usually charters for the nude cruises,
but hadn't been on RCCL since becoming platinum members of their
Crown & Anchor Society. Papagayo's and the Perch Bar will be
open, but the rest of Club Orient is closed in September. That
might mean the nude end of the beach doesn't have much going on and
could end up more lookie Lou's than nudists. Let us know if the beach is crowded even when Club O is closed.
Keep plugging away at the RCL C&A perks. We've REALLY enjoyed making Diamond. Free drinks 4pm-8pm, quite a few on-ship tour activities, extra free dining venue options, separate lounge area, free internet days, and general diamond card recognition. We're friends with a Diamond+ couple who have been on a couple transatlantics with us. We enjoy sharing their caviar perks every night.
The Adventure goes to Sint Maarten every other week and we are
going on a week it doesn't stop there either. I'd rather go when
the beach is more crowded anyway, but a couple of Willie's frozen
drinks at the Perch would make the trip worth it.
