My recent hospital visit

Our hospitals here in the USA allow the patient to wear their gowns that opens in the back. I pulled a switch on them recently when I was hospitalized for my real high blood pressure: I refused to wear their silly gown and stayed naked most of the time. My wife was opposed to my desire and told me so (she doesn't believe in being nude for any reason except to shower or change clothes). The hospital staff, both nurses, doctors and CNAs did not seem to mind my nudity. I did tell them that I would not venture into the hallway naked. They seemed to be okay with that.

RE: My recent hospital visit

When I was in the hospital they had me remove all my clothes and don the hospital gown that opens in the back. I tied the neck very loosely and did not tie any of the other strings. When lying in bed I took my arms out of the armholes and slipped the neck tie over my head. Basically the gown turned into a top sheet and it was much easier to sleep that way without the gown bunching up under me. If staff came in, it was easy to slip the neck hole back over my head.

During a three day stay, I worked myself out of the gown while asleep and was not under any covers. The nurses would check on me hourly, and during one of those checks, I woke. She just said, "Oh, Well."
