Do your whole body at the same time; the parts of concern should take just a few seconds, and it will be completely obvious that you are simply applying sunscreen. (At a guess, you had put sunscreen everywhere else, then later taken off a swimsuit, and finished the application - which might, indeed, look rather as if you were lubing just those parts.)
