RE: Home nudist in headllights

You can open carry anywhere in Western Colorado, including the national monument. And cats o like humans. Just ask the woman who was attacked while mountain biking in California... Oh wait, you cant. She's dead.

And if you meet a police officer nude with a gun you'll get what you deserve, the officer will shoot first and ask questions later. At least that's how it seems from all thenews coming out of America lately. As for garbage take out, I do that every Monday as that's our rural garbage collection day. Until winter sets in, then I have to wear warmclothing.Don't be so fucking stupid. The population of the United States is 313,910,000. Out of that, there are only 670,439 sworn peace officers, or 0.22% of the population. Police had contact with 53,050,790 people in the United States in one year. That includes traffic stops, citations, warnings, witnesses, services, collisions, reporting, observers, victims, motorists, consensual contact, arrests, etc. Out of those 53,050,790 contacts, there were 26,000 complains filed, which is only 0.049% of the time. Only 2,080 of those complains were actually sustained, which is 0.0039% of the stops. So this whole "shoot first and ask questions later" mentality is absolute bullshit.
I've been in law enforcement for 20 years now and have never once shot anybody.Wow...really? F'ing Stupid? What a jerk! Very impressive statistics though. You know what I don't see...? The percentage of people of color being shot for routing stops vs. the percentage of white people doing the same thing... That might blow a hole in your rates there, but then that's probably why you didn't include them... or has this news not made it to Niagra Falls yet...?Actually the statistics given by the Washington Post (which we all know is NOT a conservative news organisation) list 1.2 million peace officers in 2015 of that number there were 993 shootings by officers which is less than 1% of that 993 50% were shots fired at a WHITE perp, 25% were at a BLACK perp and the other 25% were at all other races (There are more than two you know). Black VIOLENT crime accounts for 26% of all crime in the US so the ratio is about even although blacks only represent 18% of the population they are RESPONSIBLE for 26% of violent crime.yeah I kind of had the multiracial thing pretty much figured out, since I'm one of them. But thanks for the schooling!!

I almost always carry a gun when I nude hike or am out and about on my property. It's called wildlife. Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Seriously, I saw a nine foot cat with paws (I later measure the tracks) of 4 1/2" run across my back yard. A year ago when I was up on Glade Park at my secret waterfall, I saw a huge Black Bear print. Not only did I carry a gun there after that, I took my Benelli M2 12 gauge! It might look silly carrying a gun while nude, but my state of dress has nothing to do with it. It is the area in which I live.DonWell, if a park ranger happens to come along and see you carrying, in a state or federal park, he will have your balls, not for being nude, but for carrying in the limits of the park. And you have to think about the judge looking at you in your hiking attire, or not.A few years ago Congress passed a law eliminating the blanket federal prohibition on carrying guns in national parks, wilderness areas, etc. The state law for the state in which the national park exists is now the controlling law - so if it's legal for you to carry a gun in public in the state, it's legal in the national park.

Forget the gun. Can we just get back to being naked? Why all the anti-gun rhetoric? This isn't the place for that. Out of all the words on the OP the word *gun* is what so many have zoomed in on. Most likely the OP did nothing wrong or illegal. Mentioning the word gun here was probably poor judgement given the times and this environment but other than that why all the furor? I don't know where that occurred but most places in the US you can open carry on your own property and that extends up to the curb. So why so much judgement? You don't want people to judge you for being naked but you are so quick to judge the guy for carrying a gun. You don't know his circumstances or environment. I too have walked to my mailbox naked except for my gun when my mailbox was at the end of my driveway. I still walk up there to pick up packages delivered by ups or fedex. Like others have said I too have concerns to protect against. We have snakes, bobcats, coyotes, panthers, feral hogs around my house just to start with and I won't even begin on two legged predators. A naked guy would be an easy target in the dark. Maybe I should post a picture or me naked except for my belt and holstered weapon. Having said all of that I will add that I usually have on shorts if I'm carrying and there is a chance of being seen but it's no crime if I don't.

RE: Home nudist in headllights

Was out this morning about 4:00 am. Walked to the curband a car up the street stopped (there's a stop sign posted). I wasputting out the trash collection. I am certain the driver saw me. Iwalked back the way I'm came & into my garage. Nothingoccurred. Could be because I open carry a pistol.
I'm taking out at daytime and more often than not, I need to take
some more to the bins at night before collection. I need to take it
along a long driveway, push the button for the security gate to
open and a bright headlight comes on. Nevertheless, I take it out
to the roadside, where the bins are and yes I'm nude summer or
winter. Just a little walking. I don't think I'd bother to have a
weappon with me. It's enough hands full to carry the trash out to
the bins, why would I want to have a weappon on me as well? I'm
glad to live here in Australia. We may have the most venomous
creatures in the world, but a pistol, or gun won't kill them at
night, besides it's only the spiders one needs to beware of. The
snakes are inactive at night, except for some pythons. Some times
some treefrogs land on me, or I may stumble over a turtle. I love
nature around me.

For 99% of the non-American members the mere concept of carrying a gun to put out the bins is so alien that it jumps out at us.
I can understand carrying a gun in the wilderness, but to put out the trash?????

To me the OP shouldn't have said he had a gun on him in the first place.
