Traveling across the country looking to hang out!

Hi! I just submitted for certification! I'm starting a road trip starting in NY driving south across the country and back east along the north part of the US. I'm looking to hike, camp, meet people. if there are any events in the area i'm driving through, i'd love to meet people! I'm still new to this life style, so i'm looking for nice, fun people.
About my partying habits:
i don't drink (i do but i don't really like how it makes me feel or not able to drive)i like to do outdoor stuff! (hike, yard games, swim)I think i'm funny?
