Beginner in kayak
Hi, Sorry for my English, this is not my first langage. I live in Canada. I begin my second season in kayak. Last year, I bought a little sit-on-top kayak. I thinked that it was better a sit-on-top to enjoy the sun than a sit-in. For my first year, I mainly did rides on quiet streams. This year, I decided to try a little white-water kayaking. Last weekend, I made my first ride on creek. Wow! What a feeling of adrenaline to cross the rapids with water that splashes on me. I have yet the skills to overcome the waterfalls. So, I have to drag my kayak on a little trail in forest to overcome the greatest obstacles. First lesson, always have a minimum of clothing to protect the body. Because walking around naked in the woods with a kayak and branches of trees which we whipped up the body is not enjoyable. Despite this, I loved my experience. This feeling of freedom to feel the Sun and water on her skin. And without fear of meet other hikers dressed. Because the small streams are much less frequent than the largest. As I am a beginner in this activity, I am open to any comments or suggestions.
