Stolen Photos
One of many things that piss me off about the fakes is the stolen photos. Not so much the nude ones but the clothed ones that are snatched from Facebook and similar and used here. That is just so wrong but its life in cyberspace I guess. Photos certainly get stolen from here. Those warning people put in their profiles do almost nothing.
With that in mind, really why does anyone post photos on here?
Almost certainly those can get stolen too!
I just am not afraid to show my face.
But wow, I really need to be careful about the naturist photos on here. Some of those might be stolen from other profiles on here!
Imagine if a person is on here and they pass and leave the account to their family but they cannot get the password or username. What happens next?
I can not bear to look at it or think about it.
Everything I post on here is so I can be remembered when I am gone.
This is part of my so called "Digital file" for when I am gone. Try to think like this for every data point you have online.
I am alright with people posting photos but man really be considerate of your audience.
Your audience is either everyone in general online, or everyone that will remember you when you are gone.
Do I care if people know I am a nudist? No, not really. What does it really matter whether you are Christian or Buddhist, left or right handed, nudist or textile, so long as you don't do any harm or force your preferences upon others whom want nothing to do with them. It's not like you are posting pornographic pictures here, or at least you should not be. What I don't like is the idea of someone taking a photo of me and using it to misrepresent me or use it for nefarious purposes. That's what the scammers are doing here by stealing photos from Instagram and other sites and setting up TN profiles. That just really bugs me, but it is the risk of being in the digital world I guess.
All is good.
I understand where some people approach these issues.
So, I personally like when everyone acts like themselves online.
In general, if a person acts like themselves in the ways that they want to be perceived by others, it reflects into the online world.
The idea is to be the best attributes people want to know about you online, and to strive for excellence in your online representation in your online accounts.
That represents our best self online is when we are ourselves.
And when profiles are faked or stolen, generally most people will not notice, but professional fraud hunters will notice the stolen or faked profiles.
The large problem facing TN is that there is hardly any web traffic and bad leadership at the owner level of management of the website.
Therefore, there hardly are any professionals handling the fake accounts, because of bad leadership and nobody that could get rid of the trolls has access to the site.
It is what it is. Nothing I immediately can control.
Other than calling out the frauds on this website, I have no real ideas as to how handle this beyond just posting the frauds here, and waiting for the T. N. dot com home office to respond.
