Elegant sexy bottoms
So this is about the bottom part of ladies' outfits. I had a separate topic about the top, so I will not repeat the blurb.
Sure, naked is nice and natural, bottomless is nice and alluring. But we sometimes do need to cover -at least a bit- the lower half of our anatomy.
So what is nice and sexy for you? A very short jeans short which leaves a third of our bottom exposed and with a bit of luck you may hope to see more? A long velvet dress so tight that it sublimates our shape? A short -oh so short!- latex dress which is doomed to end into mishaps? A short and vaporous skirt which you may hope that, with the help of a gust of wind... Unless it's a semi-transparent one? A long dress opened on one side all the way to the hip? A tight dress fully opened on the sides and only kept in place by a few strings?
For reference, I could post pics with all these types of dresses if the mods let me, but such is life - you will have to imagine them or go on Shein and search for sexy dresses...

I don't know how many here are old enough to remember the 'scooter' shorts & 'hot pants' of the 70s but those things got this teenager's attention very, very, "did I say very?" quickly. Wow, did those things look good. And, if they were yellow, oh my goodness, did it stop me in my tracks. Yep ... a sure max reading, peg the needle, on the teenager testosterone meter. But to answer the question posed, I really enjoy a sexy, long evening dress with nice flowing lines and a slit up one side to just below the hip. There's a certain elegant sexiness to that attire that is difficult, no it's impossible to ignore. I, of course, would prefer white or a cream type hue for color, but they all look good. Flora, if you have a pair of hot pants hidden in the wardrobe, it would be heavenly for pics of a short modeling session. You'd sure get my attention.
All those options sound great and I'm struggling to pick a favourite, even after having a day or so to ponder the question.
Rears can be nice in any mode and dress, and sometimes the profile of the curve is enough on it's own. I still recall actress Felicity Kendall being awarded 'Rear of the Year' in the UK at the time the sitcom 'The Good Life' was popular and she was regularly looking unreasonably great in functional farming wear. Did they create the award just for her? Catherine Bach seemingly invented Daisy Duke shorts for her famous role but they were probably around before that. A young me was watching for humour and the action, but cousin Daisy was always pleasant to see, and so nice!
So for me perhaps it's no so much coverage but rather profile. Bike shorts and yoga pants can present a delicious shape, especially when thin enough to highlight any proverbial pimple interrupting the smooth lines. Short shorts may be more substantial in structure, disguising somewhat the underlying natural profile, but compensate for this by the amount of leg that is on display.
A tight fitting skirt is always nice and I'm a sucker for a female in a knit dress or skirt for the fabulous way they can shaoe themselves. They don't have to be short, but catch the eye when they do. Following her performance at the Australian Football League Grand Final this year, Katy Perry was hosted in a corporate box, high enough in the grandstand that when the broadcast camera caught up with her for the shortest moment in a break of play, it was clear just how shirt her dress was.
Finally, Flora, you bring up the floaty skirt which will not particularly emphasise the rear so much as the legs, but may occasionally give away more through a breeze or even just the wearer's activity. Always a serendipitous moment should one occur!
Okay I have been camping for the past week !
Oh what a great topic. Yes women have a figure with a great shape. That hourglass look is always amazing.
So that long tight dress looks fantastic, but one slit or two is a big question for me. The one on the side going up high with the hint of no panties. But now those high waisted panties are around ! Or the dress with the two slits up front are beautiful also. Like when the lady is walking and her legs come out from under that long dress. Cool ! Or when she sits down and her legs are exposed.
Dont forget about that summer dress that is so thin and airy. The way the summer breeze moves it as she walks is also a site to see. Then when the light shines through it. Wow !
Cutoffs, well you cant get any sexier than that for a country girl ! And those Daisy Dukes ! Yes those did change the way I looked at girls.
But which is the best ? Dont let me choose., they are all beautiful on or coming off !
The longer side slits triggered a memory for me. I thought there was a famous instance where a Melbourne socialite wow such a dress and photographers waited at the stairs to get the most striking photograph, but it may have been Princes Diana in that situation. Probably tame compared to now but dating at the time and for the subject involved.
Aren't women always a feast for the eyes? and who wants to divide it into two halves, and then it also depends on the cut. For me, women are simply nature's most beautiful work of art, and I like them better as a complete work of art
With a degree of serendipity, a topic I heard on the radio identified the moment I was thinking of. Sonia McMahon, wife of the then Australian Prime Minister wore a dress with fairly high side-splits on their White House visit in 1971 and it was there that the photographers waited by the staircase. Details and the image are easily searchable.
