Sodium isn't really an issue unless you have kidney problems. I've had several doctors tell me that salt does NOT cause HBP. I was on a sodium restricted diet thinking it would help. Labs showed dangerously LOW sodium levels and the doc told me to knock it off and stop worrying about salt. Sugar is what you really need to worry about.

Kidney problems- winner winner. No salt for me LOL
It depends on a few things. If I'm enjoying a naked day on my deck and need to grill in order to have something to do while I burn my back and watch the neighbor lady mow her lawn, I put cheddar brats on. I burn the f out of them and eat them one by one with a fork right off the grill.
If I'm grilling some quality dogs because there are soft and loverly buns, a bowl of good chili, and a bowl of chopped onions around, I will make coneys and eat as many as I can without ... well ... you know.
