CQ, CQ, NAR (nude at radio) hams
getting there a little. just been lisnin in on a few local repeaters and seeing if I can hit em. Did get into one the other day. The HF radio I got recently resides in the box yet. Plan is to get everything set up in a camp in my orchard with dipole and beams and such things. And then set up an off road trail bike with electric drive, add radios and be able to run up to the mountain top nearby easily. n4isf
Mornin! I am fairly new to ham and am trying to figure out the ins and outs. I have a QB25 radio in my truck and a Baofang handheld that I have programmed myself (quite the learning curve). I can her people in Utah, Washington State, and others far off and close by so that part is good.
At any rate, there are a few channels that arent transmitting so Im guessing the settings are off. Tried to get some assist from local hams but they are not much help, not sure why as they have same channels and are seasoned hams. These same hams are always asking why Im not checking in on certain nights and I tell them my issues. They say ok send me your settings and Ill take a look and get back with you. I do and never hear back, even after follow ups. Anyone got time to assist a newbie ham with technical issues? Would be glad to email my settings to you to take a look at or even post them here. Just want to get past the issues as Im getting pretty disillusioned by ham experience so far. Thanks
I take my ht hiking and will try on mountain tops. I have a 817 that I should start taking. Don't have a regular set up at home, but when possible clothes free.
My field day and event use of my tower trailer are usually with friends who don't expect nude enjoyment.
I have managed nude walks while they were sleeping, including yuma fest.
