Well, the biggest hypocrites are the resort owners themselves.
Seems as if the owners of the 2 well known resorts in southern California have finally admitted to being long time swingers and porn industry contributors.
There were always on going rumours floating around but now it has been confirmed.
We just heard from friends out west that this long time aanr promoting nudist couple are opening up their own swingers nude resort this month right in Palm Springs.
It looks as if more and more couples are now starting to separate themselves from all the hypocritical nudist stuff and are now openly admitting that they are swingers.
Kind of surprised that this has not been mentioned on here until now.
How many are surprised to hear this latest news about these owners who were so anti swinger to their guests for so many years, now coming out to being swingers?
Swingers are not only taking over the nude resorts, they own all the nudist resorts.
We are not bashing them for being swingers we are just saying that most nudist are closet swingers.
As proven once again by this long standing aanr flag waving nudist couple.
With really do think that most nudist are hypocrites when it comes to denying that nudity and sex, is what attracts people to this lifestyle.
There is nothing wrong with admitting it as this well known couple have chosen to do.
After all who doesn't love to have sexy fun?
Has anyone else heard this shocking news out of Palm Springs?
We find it weird that up till now haven't seen a mention of it.
Is that because very few of you actually go to the nude resorts?
Are the majority of people on this site just closet / stay at home nudists?
We are sure that there is a lot more to this story but that is all that we have heard to date.

What you describe is the gulf which American Puritanism stamps on nudism. I grew up in a very morally and sexually repressive community where my parents' generation thought they were liberal since they allowed us to dance, play cards and go to movies, unlike when they were growing up. In my 20s I moved to Stockholm and hung out with my female cousin a lot who shared a lot about her sexual escapades and turbulent relationships. It didn't take me long to realize we were both suffering from repression and just expressing it in different ways. Nudism in the US tends to be the same way.
Let nudists get erections and have sex because they are sexual creatures, but without focusing on it because we are also social creatures who need to balance sexual urges with respect for a greater community. As far as nudist resorts, they're run by people, and people will be hypocritical. Feeling prejudiced against by them as a single male, I have little interest in supporting or learning about them, and if I were to become acceptable as part of a heterosexual couple, chance are my position would stay the same.

Most of what you say is true. Cannot for the life of me figure out why nudists need to kno about someones glans sensitivity. Or have group focus on buttocks. But those of us who say we want to preserve genuine naturism/nudism cant seem to get our act together and work cooperatively to make it happen. Too much infighting and cliques even on this site. Meanwhile the sex oriented folks are taking over bit by bit.
If you are referring to the former Terra Cotta folks they were always suspect as you say and did not have AANR national affiliation for many years now.

Interesting that they were not affiliated with the aanr for years?
They were always putting themselves out there as the role model couple for the nudist / clothing optional crowd.

That is news to us and we were shocked to hear that they are now opening up their own swingers resort.
What a shocker for so many of us.
From what we hear, they were always so anti swingers and so against any signs of affection!
