on the clock bare

Yesterday when I got back to the office after making a delivery, I was the only one there and knew no one else would be showing up during the few minutes that I would be there putting a few things away. So I put the items away NAKED! Then clocked out put only my shorts back on and still shirtless went out to the car. So now I can check off being naked at work from my bucket list.

I work naked, but not at work. I work from home two days a week, and there's no reason to put on clothes for it. I don't think I've ever been naked at my workplace - it would be nice to be able to, but there are always people about.

I walked about my plant checking machinery and the finished products. Over several years, I found, by accident, that there was a lingerer. Someone who needed to use the bathrooms before taking that bus ride home. It was often one of the girls who worked for me. One woman asked me the day after our encounter in the plant why I was doing this. I simply told her that I was a nudist and enjoyed being naked. That year, when I was doing inventory, she asked if she could stay and help, providing that we were both to be nude. I agreed. And she became a very active nudist.

I have been naked at work a few times. After everyone else leaves. It is a fun feeling being at your place of employment completely nude. I have had a few close calls with my coworkers coming back unexpectedly. But I have always been able to spot them first and get dressed again before they know what I was doing. I would hate to find out the consequences if I were to be caught. But I try to minimize those consequences as much as possible. Definitely something I look forward to when I can. Bucket list - check.

Working 24 hr shifts at the fire house ... I was on the clock, bare! Late, late night and early, early morning hours, I'd have to man the phones to call people in during major fires and man reserve equipment. Many times I was awakened by the dispatch Chief and instructed to do so and I'd get up outta bed and sit at my dorm desk and begin working on the task.
Several times I'd be down stairs getting a bottle of water and the phone would go off or the bell would go off and I'd be down in the kitchen naked and answer the phone or walk out to the fire engine, slip on my turnout pants/boots and a jacket and get on the rig and respond to the incident.
My entire crew knew I was a nudist and never batted an eye at seeing my naked ass getting into my turnouts/bunker gear or sitting at my desk during these late/early hours and talking on the phone. Even my boss saw me a few times and just said, "hope you've got something to put on if the front door bell rings!" I showed him shorts and a t shirt in my file drawer, he just gave me a thumbs up!

I have been nude more times than I can count while at various jobs over the years, especially since I worked a lot of graveyard shifts. I would not do it today though with all of the cameras everywhere.

In 1982 I was in charge of the kibbutz pool. After vacuuming the bottom for a long time (pre-robot days), and skimming pine needles from the surface, I'd strip naked and dive in with a square of Scotch-brite to get the seams. When that was done, I'd dry off, dress, go to breakfast, and then to other work. I was not responsible for gardening on the pool grounds. Quite often one of the gardening staff would show up before breakfast to rearrange the sprinklers. Nobody complained about my nudity that year. I did not wear a swimsuit a single time that season.

I am a bit of a cheat, last summer I had a job at a clothing optional guesthouse, so I was naked at work, not the same buzz I know, but still a buzz.

Not too many weeks ago I decided to get a picture of myself at work naked and cutting some metal with a chop saw. There were not very many workers in that day so I set up the saw in a secluded area and put my phone on delay. The camera went off just as the cutting was beginning but with all of the noise of the saw and the glowing sparks it was impossible to know. Had it waited another couple of seconds there would have been more sparks in the photo. Still, it was cool to be naked among glowing metal sparks flying around! And also to do it at work.
