You don't know what you're missing
I had this as a comment yesterday from an Uncut guy about my circ (which I LOVE -Done at birth, no choice and SOOO happy!)He said 'You don't know what you're missing' and he was so happy he was uncut. How do you guys feel if an uncut says that to you - what do you say back?
I was cut later at age 28. I'm not looking back since. I'm not missing it, as there was far too, much of it, attracting infections, which hasn't been the case since being cut. I love the hygiene aspect of it, which is more practical as well.
I was cut at birth too. When I was about 7 my Mum broke the news to me--I hadn't had much chance to notice that I was 'different' even though practically everybody around me was uncut, still is in fact. I remember feeling that I'd been sort of violated. Later of course I learnt to take pride in being cut. For one thing, you grow an impressive looking 'helmet' that uncut guys don't because their glans is constrained by the foreskin... As for missing something, what I've been told is that uncut guys have this great time masturbating because the foreskin enhances the sensation, and in the meantime it also protects the glans from becoming desensitised. Well, guess am doing fine in both departments so far :)
I think it is an absurd comment as it can be applied by each side to the other. Except in a few instances, no one will ever know how the other state feels, etc since once done it can't reversed except through great effort and cost. I would rather not waste my time on such unproductive discussions because one can't really understand how the other state feels, the experiences, etc. I agree with others that a circumcised penis is generally more pleasing to the eye but there are many uncircumcised penises with a moderate amount of foreskin that lets the glans be seen in a natural state - many of those are lovely.
Assuming the meeting was at a naturist event I think the comment is a sad one. Body acceptance should be what we are about. Fat, thin, disabled, small or tall. What the hell does it matter. Being naked makes it easier to see what is on the inside.
I live in area where there is a rapidly growing anti-circumcision movement, and it puts me in a quandry, as someone who was circumcised at birth (and is very happy I was). Truth is, there are legit arguments on both sides of the issue, but it has taken on an emotional edge that is becoming almost alarming (i.e., I hear people say not only should it be banned, but parents who circumcise their kids should be imprisoned, etc.---really over-the-top stuff). Or people comparing it to female circumcision which is an inaccurate (and unfair) comparison---not the same thing, and not the same intended results. In the end, I am very happy with the way my penis looks, feels and functions, but I would never make a negative comment about someone's uncut penis. And I wouldn't want anyone else to make a comment about mine either. It's not fun when others "pity" something about you that you're actually proud of. :P

If I were you I would tell him the same thing.
I was only circumcised when I was 15 and I remember it being a very painful process. I do recall that that part of my body was under anesthesia, but for some strange reason, I kept feeling that something was touching my penis. The doctor found it so strange that it gave me three doses and only after that did the whole process feel normal. Afterwards, it took some time for me to adapt to this new look penis look, but I do found it more comfortable this way, although I fear the doctor cut too much skin, thus affecting my sensibility, especially when Im aroused and someone touches it.
I was cut at birth so I don't know what it would have been like to grow up with a foreskin. Even though I like the natural look of an uncut penis, I've always been cut so I don't miss it. My penis is sensitive and I love seeing the head of my penis exposed rather than hooded over. Nobody has ever said this to me and I've been around many men who are uncut, but I like the idea of saying the same thing back to him.
Provided you hadn't invited (explicit or implicit) this guy to discuss your circumcised state, it was a rude and stupid to make such a comment on it. A proper reply could be for example "What makes you think I'm interested in your opinion about my penis?" or "What makes you think that?". Rude questions should preferably not be answered, only met with a counter-question about the question itself(or the questioner).Since I was cut as adult, I could reply that the person doesn't know what he's talking about since I know very well how it is to have a foreskin, and that I don't miss it at all, but he himself does absolutely NOT know what HE'S missing, namely how it is to be circumcised. But I would probably not waste time on it.
