Hi guys,
My name is Mika. I'm 21 and new to the nudist comunity. I think what pushed me here was circumstance work and my job. My first truly nudist experiences were at the Korean (womans) Bath house. It's a rather pleasant experience and I enjoyed my time there. Everyone walks around naked (with the exception of it being gender seperated).
I'm also very comfortable in my own skin because I work as a Dancer part time. I think that really helped push nudism for me. And while I enjoy being nude, I find it more enjoyable to be in situations where it NOT sexual outside of work.
I'm a student and very new and fresh to the community. I'm not aware of much and I would some mentors or any support.
My folks are rather religious and would not be very understanding. Also I've noticed a considerable amount of nudists are a great deal older than I. Are there any folks my age that are into it as well?

Hi and welcome. While I am not as young as you I am not part of the older crowd that you have seen, I am 32. I can tell you for sure that there are nudists your age, dejanude and vita nuda have a really young crowd where you will be in the majority rather than minority. You may quickly find that the internet is a frustrating place for female nudists because there are men that claim to be nudists but are looking for the wrong things on nudist sites. For some reason the plethora of porn is not enough for them. I'm not saying this to scare you off but to prepare you so that you do not get scared away. There are plenty of us real nudist men and you will find that we are not dirty old men, well at least not in this setting :) Hope your experience is a good one. there is a lot of good info on this site and several of us are willing to offer up our experience and honest opinions should you want them.
Welcome to this community. IF you are indeed in the Denver, Colorado area (rather than Armed Forces, America) there are some great opportunities to enjoy clothes-free living. Very near by in Littleton is Mountain Air Ranch. There are also at least 2 nonlanded clubs. BTW, I found nudism at age 19, over 43 years ago.

I support everything Kender said. I'm a bit older than him but still, hopefully, have the mind of a young person. It is true that here as well as on the internet in general there are people who maybe don't have the right motives. Its nice to see younger people taking an interest in nudism and it is a shame that many don't. Perhpas its a confidence thing and by the time you get older its easier to do, maybe that's why there are more older people. However I would also say this, once you start it will stay with you all your life. I started going nude on the beach in my 20s. it woulod be nice to still be young but none of us can stop that clock :0(
I hope you will have good experiences and will find pleanty of people like Kender, me and others who only want to give you support and encouragment as you learn about the nudist way of life. You can add me to your friends list if you like but I will leave you to decide.

Hi Mika and welcome to the nudist community. At 21 you are wondering if you might be too young for this life style. Let me assure you, of all the nudists who I have ever met, I have never met one who said they wished they waited until they were older before becoming nudists. Actually the opposite is true. Most nudists wish they had started years sooner, even to the point of wishing that they had been raised in the nudist life style. You don't have it listed in your profile but I assume that you are single. There are two things that I would like to mention about that. As a single nudist woman, you will be the subject of a lot of unwanted attention. You must learn how to deal with it and please do not let it deter you from this wonderful, rewarding life style. And finally, when it comes to dating, it is always wise to try to stay withinone's own back ground. Although many mixed marriages (religious, racial, ehtnic, etc.) do turn out beautifully, they do have their own sets of additional problems to deal with. Nudist and non nudist partnersmight find that they have a large chasm in their relationship that may be too difficult to over come. Again, congratulations on your new chosen life style.

I really like the way ya said that Desert lol. Tis be true, almost everyone wished they did it sooner.
Now to original topic, nudism is quite a great thing. Liberating, free, and the understanding you gain is definitely a positive. And as a 19 year old nudist, I can say yes, we do exist. Just gotta do a bit of digging/searching lol. But hey, if we didn't, then nudism as a whole would die out, eh? To many many years of fun in the sun with others, cheers.
