Welcome to TN, There is a lot of good information here on the forum. Don't just limit yourself to what's on the home page. click on the word "FORUM" up above and read through them. I believe under the "newbie" section is a thread entitled "welcome to TN....begin here!"

Welcome to TN from another Carolinian. Where in the state are you? I can very much recommend Serendipity, northeast of Atlanta in the Cleveland, GA area right near NC.

Listen to the Snugglebunny and visit the various forums. Lots of good information.
