Does anybody else feel like their creativity is being hampered by the in crease in lumber prices?

I found an interesting set of videos on Youtube "Costycnc" where a guy builds a cnc hot wire foam cutter with a hot glue gun. Looks and fast and easy.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who works nude in my shop. It have it situation such that I can pretty much be nude there all day with no problems!

My son and I have been thinking of building a 3 d printer. We started one on the reprap style but are now thinking we should set it aside and build one on the makerbot style. I think the fragile model is better not to be jerked around, just slowly...

As an old shop teacher I work with many materials, but lately I have been doing mostly woodworking and foundry work.
