Gunnison Beach Nudists

We have reservations in Long Branch NJ for the 24-26 of May. Going to spend my birthday on the beach. I hope the weather will cooperate. I know the water temp. is cold but a little sun can make for a beautiful day. Regardless I will be at the beach...

Though the water's still in the 50's, if air temps are in the mid 80's and sunny, I'd consider a day trip. Does anybody know when they fence off the southern portion of the beach for the "nesting shorebirds"?

Thinking of making the drive to G beach next Wed if the weather cooperates. I was wondering if anyone else is planning on going?

The wife and I are planning to visit Gunnison this weekend. Weatherman is predicting good weather maybe last weekend we can be naked outside for many months. And with all the rain and flooding in Sept. we need to see some sun!!!!

I tried going to Gunnison today to find out that the beach was closed due to Hurricane Irene. Does anyone know a web site that tells you when the beach is open / closed? All of my attempts with google search failed, I tried calling 411 for a phone...
