I'm confused as to why anyone would have a private profile. The purpose of the site is to interact with other nudists isn't it? If you have a private profile how can people know anything about you and decide if they want to interact with you...

Before the recent overhaul there was a slightly clunky but working mechanism to use a custom avatar in chat, selected from TN profile pictures. Has that now gone, or is there a way to do it? Pamela
